Adera FYBRO

Instructions for use:

Surface preparation:.
The joints between bricks/aerated concrete, the halls in the walls and some imperfections of the wall will be filled before plastering.
On very absorbent surfaces (aerated concrete, bricks, etc) it will be applied a specific primer like Adera Primer Universal ( the application is detailed in technical data sheet of the primer).
On non - absorbent surfaces (concrete type) it will be applied a specific primer like Adera BetoPrimer (the application is detailed in technical data sheet of the primer).
Adera FYBRO it will be applied after the primers are completely dried (24 hours depending on temperature, season, thickness).

Paste preparation:.
Place the water into a tank and then sprinkle the material and mix to obtain a homogenous paste.
Don't add additional powder in the paste. It will reduce working time
In case of machine application, adjust the parameters of the machine to fit the characteristics of the product. After the machine is stopped, don’t keep the material in it more than 30 minutes
Do not mix Adera Fybro with other products to avoid the changing of its behavior.

Application:
The temperature in the room and on the walls during the application it should be 5°C - 35°C.
All the tools should be cleaned before application.
The manual application on the support it can be done using trowel, float or ladle.
After manual or machine application the material is leveled with screed or lamellar filler. After levelling, with short time before hardening, some imperfections could be corrected with screed H.
Adera Fybro can be applied in one or several successive layers. In case of successive layers, the second layer it will be applied in aprox. 60 minutes after the first one, depending on the job site conditions (temperature, the type of the surface). The first layer it will not be finished before application of the second one. A trowel with teeth will be used to scratch the first layer especially on the ceilings.
The finishing can be done in 2 ways:

1. Sponging the surface with water and using the resulted paste as one layer of skimming. For a very smooth surface, can be applied a new layer of skimming - Adera Liss;
2. Applying one-two layers of skimming after levelling operation (Adera Finna or Adera Liss depending on finishing requests).

Special recommendation:
A thickness higher than 10 mm is not recommended on normal/smooth ceilings. For higher thicknesses mechanical anchorage it will be used.
For concrete ceilings with cooling/heating systems, Adera BetoPrimer will be applied before installing the pipes . After system installation is recommended to apply Adera BetoPrimer also on the pipes.
In case of heating/cooling systems on the ceilings the material could be applied in 2 layers if necessary: the first one with 10 - 20 mm depending on the dimension of the pipes ; After aprox. 60 minutes (wet on wet) the second layer will be applied in order to cover the pipes and the layer could be 6 mm - 10 mm.
The water temperature in the cooling/ heating installation should not be lower than 17°C in order to avoid dew point and should not be higher than 35-37° in order to avoid pipes dilatation.
In case of bathroom and kitchen applications , under the ceramic tiles , the minimum thickness it should be 10 mm, it should not finish the surface, a trowel with teeth could be used. Depending on the job site an waterproofing material could be applied before tiles installation. The joints between the tiles and on the top of the last layer of the tiles it should be correctly executed, to avoid water infiltrations.

Handling and storage:

The bags shall be stored on wooden pallets, in covered, dry areas, protected from the weather.
In case of partial use, close the bag carefully, in order to use the product for further application.
