"FLAT HEAD” Self-drilling screw 4.2x13mm

The FLATHEAD® 4.2x13 mm self-drilling screw is the first connector of its kind on the market for thin walls and load-bearing steel elements in plasterboard systems. It allows to simply and unrestrictedly create complex shapes based on plasterboard panels. Due to the unique shape of the screw head, there is less work required in mounting the cover and finishing the surface, which is reflected in low production costs. The head is flattened almost to the maximum (approx. 1 mm) to prevent deformation of the plasterboard sheathing during the mounting process on the previously prepared structures.

Applications:

  • The "FLAT HEAD" screw is used for the permanent joining of metal structures in plasterboard systems with unlimited spatial shapes such as multi-storey ceilings, fireplaces, sanitary fixture frames, floorings, etc. The allowed sheet thickness range of each metal element is 0.50-1.00 mm (total thickness of the package is 2 mm).

Instructions for use:

To install FLAT HEAD® screws, use standard drill drivers equipped with Phillips No. 2 heads (so-called PH2). Adjust the torque of the clutch depending on the thickness of the elements fastened together.
Do not use damaged PH2 drill driver cross heads – possible negative impact on the quality of installation works.

Handling and storage:

Sinat installation accessories should be transported on flat and dry surfaces, like wooden pallets, protected from the influence of external atmospheric conditions. Use pallets or warehouse shelves for storage and shelf display.
Store indoors to prevent product damage and packaging deformation.
